Robin Gouveia’s background in the personal injury field has given her a balanced perspective having worked both on the Insurance and Plaintiff’s side for substantial periods of time. From 1990 to 1999, Robin worked for Trust Insurance in Taunton, MA, handling many types of 1^st and 3^rd party claims, including both premises and auto claims and also specializing in subrogation cases. She served as a claims supervisor and eventually an assistant claims manager. While at Trust, Robin participated in development and implementation of claims handling procedures and acted as a negotiation skills trainer for the claims department. In 1998, she became a member of the Massachusetts Bar, and in 1999, Robin moved to the plaintiff side and began working at D’Oliveira & Morgan, later to become Morgan & Murphy, as a litigator handling plaintiff personal injury cases. After more than a decade, first at Morgan & Murphy in New Bedford and more recently at d’Oliveira & Associates in Fall River, Attorney Gouveia has accumulated a great deal of expertise in personal injury matters
