Richard Quinby is experienced in all aspects of litigation, alternative dispute resolution, trials, and appeals. Over his career as a trial lawyer, he has focused on business, tort, insurance coverage, products liability, professional liability,  defamation, environmental, pharmacological, labor and employment and commercial disputes. He has represented individuals, large Fortune 100 corporations, small and closely-held businesses and individuals, national retailers, financial institutions, insurance companies, attorneys, doctors, dentists, accountants, insurance and real estate  professionals.  He has served primarily as a defense lawyer but has represented hundreds of claimants in his trial practice as well.

Richard has tried or handled cases in state and federal courts in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York, Ohio, Michigan and Indiana and has represented clients in over 1000 arbitrations, mediations and before administrative agencies.

Richard has conducted over four hundred and fifty trials as sole trial counsel, and many more as supervising attorney with over a 99% success rate. He has been recognized in:

Rick is husband to Stephanie, a long-time social worker at Boston Children’s Hospital, and a  father and grandfather. He enjoys golf and supporting his hometown and longtime suffering Cleveland sports teams.
