John Ferrara was a founding partner of Dalsey, Ferrara & Albano, opened in Springfield in 1983.  Over twenty-nine years as a trial attorney, he tried many civil cases in the state and federal courts.  His areas of civil practice included personal injury, wrongful death, medical malpractice, products liability, and contracts and business disputes.  He always sought to represent clients zealously but fairly, with an eye toward a favorable and practical outcome.

Attorney Ferrara was appointed to the Superior Court in 2012 and served for ten years.  During his judicial tenure he handled hundreds of civil cases including personal injury claims, medical and legal malpractice, contract claims, business disputes, labor and employment cases … the varied cases that come before the Superior Court.  He issued hundreds of thoughtful decisions and conducted more than one hundred jury trials with impartiality and fairness.  Now retired from bench, he focuses on consultation, mediation and arbitration.
